About the course:
This one day course will aim to give you some insight of and appreciation for the ancient and mystical collection of texts, know as The Upanishads, which date back to Vedic times (approximately 2000BC). The Upanishads explore and offer spiritual instruction on such concepts as life, death, meditation, self-realisation, the Gunas, God and karma. They are commonly regarded as the purest source of India's spiritual tradition and offer a rich source of inspiration to yogis and anyone seeking spiritual guidance and answers to life's big questions.
The course was conceived with yoga teachers in mind but is open to anyone with an interest in yoga philosophy. The format will be relaxed, with plently of opportunity for discussion and questions. It should also be a good opportunity to meet other yoga teachers and gain some new insights and inspiration for your practice and your teaching.
