She trained as a Vinyasa Flow Teacher with Dave Curtis and is certified by Yoga Alliance. Geraldine presents challenging sequences of poses that flow from one to another, combining breath and movement to help uplift the body and soul. |

Pilates
087-7646816 Email: [email protected] www.citycentrepilates.com Lena is a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and a yoga teacher. Coming from a professional swimming background she has been using Pilates as a part of her fitness regime for many years. She can truly tell you that benefits of practising Pilates are many. Better alignment improves the efficiency of the body, reducing strain on both a physical and a psychological level. The energised body radiates confidence. Practising regularly can improve body image, develop core torso stability and back strength, release stress and get a better posture. It definitely helped her to improve her personal best. You also can create the body you've always wanted! As Joseph Pilates used to say, "after 10 sessions you'll notice a difference, after 20 sessions other people will notice a difference, after 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body." Lena's classes are challenging and precise with an emphasis on breathing and flowing movement. Her energy and passion for exercise help people to achieve their goals. The general rule is , "Never strain yourself!" You will learn how joints and muscles work together to create movement. The starting point is to bring a body awareness. When Pilates exercises are done using five basic principles - breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular stabilization, and head and cervical placement, the benefits are much deeper and effective. |
